Draft — not yet reviewed
This page is a working draft. It has not been reviewed by an attorney, and it is not a binding agreement or a final policy. It is published so that the draft can be read and corrected before launch. If something here matters to a decision you are about to make, ask me directly rather than rely on this text.
The short version
This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. There is no tracking pixel, no advertising network and no third-party analytics script on these pages, so there is nothing to consent to and nothing to opt out of beyond ordinary hosting logs.
What the host records
The site is served by a hosting provider, which keeps standard server logs: the address requested, the time, a truncated IP address and the user agent. Those logs exist for security and capacity, are retained by the host under its own policy, and are not used by me to build a profile of you.
What happens if that changes
If analytics, embedded video or a checkout provider is added, this page changes before that code ships, and anything that is not strictly necessary will ask first. The intent is that a reader who blocks everything can still read every article.
If you email pscaffo@nurseroot.com, your message and address sit in an ordinary mailbox. That is a different thing from a cookie, and the privacy page covers it.
Questions
